Ljubljana Marathon

The Ljubljana Marathon has been a synonym for a sports event that unites runners from all over Slovenia and abroad for many years. This year marks the 27th edition of the largest running event in Slovenia. The captivating route winding through the streets of Ljubljana continues to draw running enthusiasts. Over the years, this event has grown into an internationally renowned competition, welcoming all running enthusiasts to participate on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the marathon (42 km), half marathon (21 km) or recreational run (10 km). All supportive spectators are also invited to join in!

Ljubljana Wine Route - St. Martin’s Day in Ljubljana

Martinovanje in Ljubljana, also known as the Ljubljana Wine Route, is a festive celebration of Saint Martin’s day. This annual event honors the tradition of Saint Martin, the patron saint of winemakers, who turns grape juice into wine. Held in Ljubljana’s historic city centre, it offers a unique opportunity to taste the finest wines from across Slovenia and indulge in a variety of St. Martin’s delicacies. This year, top winemakers from all wine regions of Slovenia will showcase over 350 different wine samples for tasting.
