The room was named after a living area that is usually part of a rural outbuilding, for example a barn or a hayloft. However, this room was still designed with luxury in mind. The main feature of the room is the rich dark brown knotty wood which covers all the walls of the interior. The richness of the room is accentuated by the furniture, such as the table, nightstand and some shelves, which are all in glossy black. The upholstered headboard, armchair, bed bench and various accessories are all in gold velvet which especially shines at sunrise as the room is oriented to the south-east.
